This tour will bring you to the natural saltpans of Salineras which are still working on the same way as they used to do a long time ago, we will go thorugh old colonial towns which are situated in the Sacred Valley and surrounded by high snow-capped mountains, the andes range. First we will drive towards Chinchero, where we will see a presentation of natural and traditional production of textiles by visitting a local family. We will then continue to the village of Maras which is well-known for its colonial style houses and interesting churches. From Maras we head towards Moray, one of the most interesting of the Inca constructions – believed to have been an agricultural experiment station which helped in the Inca culture developemend. Afterwards we will drive to Salineras, where the famous saltpans are situated. Finally, the bus will take you back to Cusco.
